How to maintain your non-stick pan over time?

As High quality as the non-stick coating in cooking and baking utensils are, they do not last forever, and how long the non-stick coating will remain, depends mainly on you. With the help of the tips we have listed below, you can extend the life of your pans and non-stick utensils in the kitchen for years to come!

The benefits of pans, cookware and non-stick baking utensils

With a little care, you can enjoy your non-stick pans for a longer period of time and continue to cook without the food sticking to the cookware.
With this type of coating, less oil is needed (sometimes no oil is needed at all) during cooking, so this is a good choice for those who want to eat healthier.
In addition, non-stick pans save time for any of you busy cooks due to the need for a little time for cleaning, despite the care they need to maintain the nonstick coating.

Safety of Fryncook non-stick pans

There have been concerns in the past about the health and safety risks of non-stick pans, so we have placed significant emphasis on the materials we use in the coating to meet safety guidelines when it comes to coating our pans.
In other words, the chemicals excreted from the coating meet the FDA safety standards and guidelines.
The concern for safety was that harmful chemicals might pass into the food when the pan is heated at high temperatures (like in Teflon pans).
In conclusion, with proper use, the pans do not pose a health threat.

Rinse the pan before initial use

We recommend rinsing the pan before using it with warm water and soap to remove any residue, oils and dirt left over from the manufacturing and shipping process. Rinse well and dry completely. After rinsing no further action is required, the pan is ready for use.

Use the appropriate utensils with the non-stick pan

Although our pans are made of very high quality materials that are not easy to scratch with metal tools, but like any material – it can be destroyed.
Therefore, we strongly recommend using tools that are tailored to the type of material from which the pan is made and that will not damage the non-stick layer.
Quality plastic and wood utensils are preferable to allow you to maintain the pan for years to come.
However if you want to use metal utensils on the pan it is entirely possible, just important to make sure they are not sharp or jagged to prevent cases of scratches or removal of the non-stick layer of the pan in some parts.
Therefore, we recommend always using a plastic or wooden tool (without rough edges), or a heat-resistant silicone tool, spatula or spoon. This will make sure you keep your pan non-stick.

Cook over medium heat and not too high

While our pan can go into an oven heated to 450 ° C, when cooking on the stove it is recommended to use medium heat so as not to burn the food and destroy the coating with too strong a fire.
If we put it on a scale of 1-10 then the fire should be between 4-6 and no more.
Generally, if you put some butter or oil on the pan and they get burned then the heat is probably too high.

Always try to wash the pan by hand and not in the dishwasher

Yes, it is possible to wash the pan in the dishwasher. But most of the detergents and tablets you put in the dishwasher are too aggressive for the non-stick coating, so if possible, take a few seconds to manually rinse your non-stick pans with hot soap and water and dry them completely before storage.
Use a sponge or cloth to wash the pans. Never use scrubs that contain harsh detergents. Non-stick pans usually wash quickly and easily and require a little scrubbing. Be sure to remove any food debris that may be boiled in the mold later and damage the coating.

Use oil on non-stick pans

While our pans can perform great without the use of oil at all, it certainly helps prevent food from sticking if you use a little oil, margarine or butter. However, the use of oil sprays should be avoided as they usually contain additives that can be harmful to the nonstick coating.
so what are we doing? Lubricate slightly before use to help the coating last longer and avoid using oil sprays.

Avoid extreme temperature changes

Allow the non-stick pan to cool completely before rinsing with water. Drastic changes in temperature can cause the pan to warp, which will affect subsequent cooking performance and can also damage the non-stick coating.

Store the pan properly

When storing the non-stick pan a paper napkin should be placed on it to prevent other cooking equipment from scratching the coating. If possible, it is best to store your non-stick cookware separately from the rest of your cookware to maintain the quality of the nonstick coating over time.

Excellent! Frying without oil at all

Rated 5 out of 5

I was skeptical. I purchased the medium pan. Excellent!! No oil needed at all. No stickiness whatsoever.
It would have been great if there were also deeper and larger pots or pans for cooking fish / meat.

Just a perfect frying pannn

I bought it and it is great for frying even with oil. The heat is evenly distributed throughout the same pan prepared together at the same level.
And without oil, cooking eggs is just great !!
